University collaboration

Coordination of 3 additional courses of professor Jorge Silvetti of Harvard University ,Boston, of “ laboratory of analysis for plans and representations”and of  professor Angelo Mangiarotti ‘s additional course:“ planning methodology”. Research work linked with some students’ thesis about urbanistic and architectural problems in Leonforte historic centre. Research work  funded by Ministero della PP.II : “ systematic analysis of energetic models, architectural and technological  configurations”. Partecipation to the Design and Design Theory course at  Graduate School of Design of Harvard.

 

      Professional qualifications

Many experiences in architectural planning of public works and buildings, in urban design, restoration, consolidation and adaptation of buildings and old monuments, supervision of works, coordination of building site security. Professional advice in excavations made by Assessorato BB.CC.AA. e P.I. of Regione Sicilia.

Degree in architecture on July 18, 1983. Thesis title : Problems and difficulties in restoring old buildings  changed by a different use.
